“Play is the language of children, and through it, we gain access to the stories they don’t yet have words to tell.”

Registered Play Therapist in Training | Child Therapist in Houston, TX
It’s normal for children to face big emotions and growing pains, but when those challenges begin to impact daily life, it can leave families feeling stuck and unsure of what to do next. Whether it’s anxiety, anger, behavioral outbursts, or sudden changes in mood, kids often express what they’re feeling through their actions, not their words. That’s where play therapy can make a profound difference.
As a child therapist in Houston, I specialize in supporting kids and their caregivers through life’s tough moments. My work centers around building emotional resilience, increasing self-regulation, and helping families reconnect. Using evidence-based play therapy techniques and parent coaching, I help children feel seen, safe, and supported as they learn new ways to manage their feelings and navigate relationships.
I’ve always known I wanted to work with children. From my earliest job as a camp counselor to earning my master’s in counseling from the University of Houston, my path has always centered on helping young people thrive. Over the years, I’ve worked with children in schools, early intervention programs, and research settings, and I’ve seen firsthand how transformative play therapy can be.
Now, as a Registered Play Therapist in training, I’m passionate about meeting children exactly where they are. I believe healing and growth happen when kids are allowed to express themselves in ways that come naturally to them, such as play, imagination, and connection. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe and empowering for your child, while also supporting you with tools and strategies to bring more calm, clarity, and confidence to your parenting.
