Crochet for Healing: A Therapeutic Craft Circle - The Woodlands

Crochet for Healing is a therapist-led therapeutic craft circle designed to help adults slow down, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with themselves through mindfulness, creativity, and community. Led by Kat Nazaroff at The Flourishing Way, this 4-week group blends psychoeducation, mindful crochet, emotional processing, and beginner-friendly skill building in a supportive and approachable environment.

Research shows repetitive, rhythmic activities like crochet can help reduce stress, improve focus, support emotional regulation, and engage the brain in calming and restorative ways. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, mentally “busy,” or simply craving a more grounded way to care for yourself, this group offers space to slow down and breathe.

No crochet experience is needed.
